Work Incentive Practitioner
As a Work Incentive Practitioner, I am specifically trained to provide Social Security benefits counseling. My goal is to help you understand your benefits and how they may play out as you begin a new chapter in your life in the work world. I am an approved State of Florida vendor to provide WIPA (work incentive planning and assistance) services for VR and DBS clients.

My Qualifications
My background includes having worked with individuals with disabilities for more than 20 years. I began with teaching students with special needs at the high school level for 14 years. I taught career exploration and worked with students to gain hands-on employment experience. After teaching I moved onto working for a non-profit agency as an Employment Specialist and Job Coach for over 4 years only working with individuals with disabilities. I helped individuals find and maintain employment. I also oversaw the Ticket to Work program. I obtained my certification as a Work Incentive Practitioner in 2019. My degree is in business and marketing.
