 Understand How SSA Benefits & Incentives Work  Before You Begin Earning 

RELAX, I'll help you understand your benefits.    

During a benefits analysis meeting, we will begin with an intake of any information you have about any and all benefits and services you receive that may be affected once you begin working. We'll discuss your vocational goals and if you would like, your financial goals.  We will review your summary of benefits together and discuss possible discrepancies. Then we'll take a look at work incentives that apply to you depending on the benefits you receive. I'll use charts and calculation forms to explain how earnings may be affected and how any other benefits may be affected.

Please bring any letters pertaining to all of your benefits and services as well as your insurance card(s). 

Going to work does not mean your benefits will stop.

You may be able to keep your health benefits.

You may be able to be protected from medical reviews.

Social Security has what they call "work incentives".  These can support you in returning to work.  We'll go over these as well.
